KBS BlackTop Chassis Coater is a high-performance black protective coating made for chassis, underbody and restoration work where a durable, professional finish is required. This 1-Litre single-component formula delivers a hard-wearing surface with permanent UV stability, helping protect coated parts from the dulling and fading associated with long-term sunlight exposure, curing to an excellent low lustre (satin) rich black finish.

- Long-Lasting UV-Stable Finish: KBS BlackTop Chassis Coater is formulated to withstand prolonged UV exposure without chalking, fading or losing its clean black appearance. This makes it particularly suitable for exposed chassis components and other areas where conventional finishes may deteriorate over time.
- Hard Yet Flexible Protective Coating: Once cured, the coating forms a tough, non-porous barrier that helps protect the surface beneath. Despite its hard finish, it remains flexible enough to expand and contract with temperature changes, helping it perform in demanding automotive environments.
- Designed To Work With KBS RustSeal: KBS BlackTop Chassis Coater can be used as a durable standalone coating; however, for maximum corrosion protection, it is recommended as a topcoat over KBS RustSeal. Prepare the metal using the KBS Coatings 3-Step Total Rust Eradication System, apply KBS RustSeal to seal the surface, then finish with KBS BlackTop Chassis Coater.
- Easy Single-Pack Application: No separate hardener is required. The coating offers strong flow and levelling properties to assist with an even finish, and can be applied by brush or spray equipment to suit the project and application area.
- High-Temperature Resistance And Coverage: Suitable for applications requiring heat resistance, KBS BlackTop Chassis Coater provides coverage of approximately 11 m² per litre, per coat. Actual coverage may vary depending on surface condition, application method and coating thickness.
